Castelli Nikwax 300ml TX Direct Spray-On in Purple

Nikwax TX Direct Spray-On is a DWR replenisher for padded and lined garments.

Eventually, your Windstopper or waterproof garments start to wetting out (no longer bead rain like when they were new) even after they been washed with tech wash. When this happens its time to reinstall its DWR protective coating. This spray-on proofer is suitable for all waterproof and Windstopper garments that have a DWR treatment. But it is essential to use a spray on DWR treatment for lined garments ( wash in treatments will make the lining waterproof which means it won't be able to breath) Spray on also allows you to build up DWR on shoulders and seams.

Use:

• Always clean item(s) first with Nikwax Tech Wash®. There is no need to dry item(s) before proofing.
• We advise using Nikwax TX Direct Spray-On outside or in a well-ventilated area
• Protect working surface and lay clean wet fastened garment flat.
• Hold bottle 15 cm/6 inches away from the garment.
• Apply evenly to outside of the fabric.
• Wait for 2 minutes. Remove any surplus product with a damp cloth.
• Check carefully to ensure no areas have been missed.
• After several minutes check for and remove any surplus product with a damp cloth.
• Allow to air dry
• Nikwax TX Direct Spray-On is suitable for all DWR treated Castelli garments but is essential on lined Windstopper fabrics and winter jackets.
