Aluminium welding is the strong point of Merida's factories. 47 years of production knowledge and experience go into every frame their make. The MATTS is one of the most long-standing bike categories in their history and is proud to carry the name MERIDA.

Features:
  • 6061 double butted and technoformed aluminium frame a with more relaxed geometry. Comes equipped with internal cable routing as well as F, C and K-mounts.
  • A more compact top tube, paired with a higher front end, provide the MATTS with a more upright riding position, delivery extra riding comfort for the rider as well as a better view of what lies ahead.
  • The MATTS offers either 650B or 26" wheels, depending on model and frame size. The top models of the MATTS line-up feature fast rolling 650B wheels, while the middle range offers the smaller models with easy to accelerate 26" wheels. The MATTS 10-V entry model comes with 26" wheels throughout all frame sizes.
  • All models in the MATTS family (with the exception of the 10-V) feature powerful and easy to modulate hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulic disc brakes offer great stopping power in any weather, are more or less maintenance free and are not affected by rough or kinked cables.
  • The MATTS frames have bosses and fixture points to attach a water bottle cage, rear fenders, a rear rack and a kickstand, making it super versatile if and when it gets used as a commuter or more urban-focused bike.
  • Cables are routed through the frame to keep the look of the bike neat and uncluttered, whilst the cables are out of the airflow and protected from moisture and dirt.
