Geometry Conversion

The Geometry Conversion Technology enables you to convert your bike from a 29" to a 27.5"+ wheel size and back without changing the frame's geometry. This is achieved by changing the lower bearing cup on your head set and rotating a flip-chip at the rear shock.

The Contrail Pro comes equipped with 29" wheels (27.5" wheels not included)

Flip Chip Geometry

The Flip Chip is a small adaptor which sits either on both sides of the rocker arm or the lower shock mount and can be mounted in two directions, altering the frames geometry to make steering angle steeper or slacker: steeper for choppy terrain where quick response and agility is needed and slacker for downhill riding and more stability at higher speeds.
